Miliki Baruah, the mother of United Liberation Front of Asom’s militant ‘commander’ Paresh Baruah, passed away at their residence in Jeraigaon Panitola in Dibrugarh district of Assam today.
The social activist was suffering from low blood pressure and chronic cough, family sources said.
Miliki Baruah (88) was admitted to a private hospital in Dibrugarh after she complained of palpitation and breathing trouble, but later she was discharged. She lived with one of her sons at her home.
The mother a few days back told media there that she wants her son to fight for justice and lamented that she knows that she is not going to see her son soon but she wishes him all the success.
