Sensation prevailed at the ministers’ colony at Dispur in
Guwahati as a bodyguard of minister Sumitra Patir committed suicide by shooting
himself last night.
Security guard Akhil Haloi shoot at his head with a INSAS
rifle. He was rushed to Guwahati Medical College Hospital in serious
conditions. He was declared dead at 1 am.
