Senior Congress leader of Assam and former Union Minister
Bijoy Krishna Handique passed away in a hospital in Jorhat on Sunday. He was
81.
Handique breathed his last at the Jorhat Medical College
Hospital in Jorhat.
Handique was elected as Lok Sabha MP from Jorhat for six
terms.
Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi, APCC and scores of other
organizations condoled the demise of Handique.
